| Hey so its been......months. I have been busy trying to finish my classes and make it through project week and then my exams next week. I have three tomarrow and two on wednesday, then after that I can go home and relax. In what little free time i have had, I have been Lifting, running, and conditioning for next season. WE have alot more games and it should be a whole lot of fun, we should be really good next year. I plan on putting on a few pounds of muscle so I can remain on the checking line. I will let you know when my schedule comes out where I will play next year. I hope to see some of you after some games. I have been looking into Graduate schools and right now really like the Boston Architectural College. Other choices are Penn State, Ohio State, And Cincinnati. I most likly won't stay in Cincinnati. Well I must get back to studying, stupid finals. OH if you all get a chance, listen to the song i am listening to now, It's amazing. | | |
| OK so it has been long overdue for an update. Well let's see, I am moving along with my educational plan. Currently I am co-oping at BHDP Architecture in Downtown Cinci. I am kept busy with that and hockey all going at the same time. The hockey team is struggling a little bit but we play hard every game. I got asked to fight by two guys last weekend. The first one was their biggest player and the fan favorite. He was about 6-0 and 275 of more fat than muscle. My teammate said I would have been able to take him. As good as it would have felt to drop him infront of all of his fans and wreck the big guy from their team, Getting kicked out of the current game and suspended for the next game just wasn't worth it. He talked so much crap during the game about how he was going to be going after me and how he wanted to rip my head off. I just told him that I wasn't afraid of him and that i was jsut playing the game. So after that with about 1 :30 left in the final period, we had a powerplay in their zone. I go in for the face off and the guy lined up beside me was three inches shorter than me and about twice as thin. He asked if i was ready and wanted to fight him. I literally laughed in his face. We ended up losing 8-7 but it was fun. Speaking of hockey tomarrow we play at EKU at midnight. then on Saturday we play EKU at home and we are playing on the Cincinnati Gardens. This is a professional surface that housed the minor league team for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. To think that I will be in a locker room where professionals dressed, and using the same ice that I watched professionals play on during the NHL lockout two years ago, gets me all excited. That game is at 10 p.m. This is getting long, wow i really need to do this more frequently. Kelly and I are doing well and I can't wait to see her again. This is kind of a wierd thought, I have been with kelly for over 7 years. I am 21. 1/3 of my existence has been spent with this woman. That kinda makes me feel old and makes me feel like i have been with her forever. Anyway everyone should be getting back to their day. I'll write agian sometime soon. The usual joke: Jane and Tarzan were sitting in the tree, Jane still sexually attracted to Tarzan asked if he still enjoyed sex. Tarzan confused, asked what sex was. she explains it and Tarzan responds with "Tarzan use hole in tree." Jane then said "let me show you how it's supposed to work." She gets naked and opens her legs and says, put it here. Tarzan looks and gives her a hard kick to the groin. Crawling in pain jane asked "what was that for?" and Tarzan responded: "Tarzan check for bees." | | |

| - 2 a.m. Hey,
So I am going to do something that hasn't been done in over 2 years, and no it's not this update, I am getting my skates sharpened before Deneb and I hit the ice for our off season work out. i will actually have sharp blades and not ones duller than butter knives. I might acctually be able to stop with out sliding 15 feet sideways. It will probably take me a few minutes to get used to my new edge. I just hope that they aren't so sharp that as soon as i Turn them sideways to stop, my skates stop instantly and my body keeps going and i just topple right over and tank one on the ice. It won't hurt, i am in full gear, it would just be embarassing.,However The workout is going to be intense, many many killers. But what ever it takes to be in the best shape to give me the best possible chance to play on this team this year. ON an exciting note, I will be going to Paramount kings island on sunday afer church, I have to go to the early mass, and then i go to PKI and play for the band, just 20 minutes of songs i already know, then i get into the park for free and get to ride all the coasters and such until 630 then i get to go and play a hockey game. Well thats all for now,
The laughing stock of the day,
One night a man and his wife were laying in bed, and the husband farted under the covers, and he looks at his wife and says "2 points" she looks at him funny and then rips one even louder and stinkier and looks at her husband and says"3 pointer" So then her husband rips a mild one and finishes immediatly with a sqeakerand turns and says, "one basket and teh foul shot." So his wife lets another three pointer go. The husband is wuiet for a few minutes and actually silently craps his pants. His wife looks at him and goes "what was that?" his reply was "half-time, switch sides." | | |
| - Black Dog wow, Almost two years. It happens when you get busy. I have been witnessingChange all over the place, some good and some bad. I see my siblings grow up. I witnessed my little brothers high school graduation, my little sister is a sophomore in high School and has her first biyfriend. My other little sister is a freshman in high school and is starting to develop her own identity and become who she really is. She took the first major leap by doing a local play for our teen theatre. I wish the best for all of them. I watched Scott Stevens, Brett Hull, and Steve Yzerman all retire in these two years. All were older players (approachjing 40), But I never thought i could picture the day all three of them were gone from the game of hockey. My college is half done exactly, I'm both excited and nervous about it, not really nervous, but surprized by it. I mean i am excited to get along with my education, but i have three years down and three more to go, it's wierd to think about being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel getting brighter and brighter with each passing day. It hard to believe that what i dreamed about, the mental pictures up.of graduating and starting a life, are almost here. It always seems far in the future to make any sense of or really get excited over. Then reality sets in, i do only have a short time left in college and my life is really about to start.
OK now that my pensive thinking is over, I am excited for two reasons, the first is that I am starting my fourth year in college and I have alot on my plate in these up coming years, I have become more involved. In the spring I am announcing Bearcats baseball games on the Bearcast radio, (campus radio online). I will also host a sports show with a good buddy of mine Erwin on Wednesday nights. In the fall i am going to be marching in the band and playing for basketball games in the winter, LET"S GO CATS! The other thing that has had me excited since April is the UC hockey team. The try-outs are in about a month, and i have been working my butt off to get in shape for it, running ladder sprints (100yard max) lifting, and getting on the ice as much as possible (three times a week). I fell really confident about the try-outs coming up in September. Other than that I have been co-oping in Cinci at K4 Architecture, I help design 5/3rd. banks. SPeaking of which it's late and i have to be in the office by 8am. I GET FREE LUNCH TOMARROW. FROM A CADERER! I love lunch and learns. some guy talks about a really interesting, cost effective way tolight a building or roof it, or doors, or windows, or floors. Ane he beings cadered lunches for everyone.
